Sunshine Coast Wheel Repairs

Sunshine Wheel and Mechanical Repairs have been performing high-quality wheel repairs for the Sunshine Coast since our establishment in 2007. Our workshop is equipped with state-of-the-art CNC equipment, allowing us to provide tailor-made repair solutions that will hold up in the harshest of Aussie conditions. Our welding and finishing is second to none, and we invite you to try and tell the difference between a new wheel and our repaired wheels! We pride ourselves on our quick turnaround, and all our wheels, including painted ones, can typically be back on your car on the same day if you drop them off in the morning.

It’s imperative to have your wheels repaired if they’ve developed a crack, as this can inevitably result in a potential accident should your wheel give way while driving. We use CNC equipment to carefully design and install a tailor-made repair solution for your wheels, welded by our expert technician with over 10 years in the field. All structural wheel repairs we perform come with a warranty on our workmanship. Please give us a call, or send in a text or email with a photo of your damaged wheels for a quote.

Wheel Repair vs Replacement:

We recommend wheel repair on all Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) wheels that have been damaged.  An OEM replacement wheel is often ore expensive than a regular repair, with some German models costing upto $2k for a new wheel! We’re one of the few wheel repairers in Queensland that have CNC equipment on-site, allowing us to develop a repair solution designed specifically for the wheel at hand, without the inconsistency of hand-cut repairs. Our wheel repairs look exactly like new, and we challenge our customers to try and tell the difference.

Common wheel repairs we do include:

  • Bent wheels
  • Warped wheels
  • Cracked wheels
  • Dented wheels
  • Buckled and flat-spotted wheels

It’s important to stress that we can almost always repair your wheels, no matter the condition. Many of our customers are surprised at the fact that we can restore their seemingly bent, warped and cracked wheels back to as-new condition. It’s worth sending in a photo to us to see if we can do it, as the cost of repair is much less than replacement. For simple visual flaws rather than structural wheel issues, we also offer wheel refurbishment services.

How Much Do Your Repairs Cost?

Cost of repair does depend on the material and finishing of the wheel, as well as the extent of the damage. We can provide you with a  quote when you send in a photo of your damaged wheels allowing us to identify what material it’s made of and the extent of damage.
